"I visited Mark at Performance Specialist to inquire about some performance upgrades for my 2000 Camaro SS. He advised me on the importance of a good quality synthetic motor oil. Since Amsoil is the best synthetic oil, we used Amsoil in the engine (0w-30) for outstanding engine protection and fuel economy. Amsoil synthetic ATF for the transmission, and Amsoil synthetic gear lube for the diff. Then we moved on to a Tornado in the intake and a chip (JET), for some more power & mileage. I experienced an average 2 to 3 mpg gain. On my next visit, an SLP cold air intake & a mass air flow was installed, along with under drive pulleys from JET. At this point my Camaro is very quick and smooth. Next, I wanted to install higher ratio roller rockers, Mark suggested we look at improving spark quality rather than changing rocker ratios. So he installed Magnecor 8.5mm plug wires, MSD coils and spark plugs. The performance gains are phenomenal! A gain of 4 mpg highway driving at speeds ranging from 65 mph to 85mph & above! This car is fast, powerful, and gets well over 25 mpg. I recommend Performance Specialist to anyone interested in power, fuel economy, longer life of their vehicle.

I took my 2004 Scion to Performance Specialist in Feburary of this year,  to have Amsoil (Synthetic Motor Oil) which I was told, "never to use " and a Tornado put in my car. The results are, my car runs smoother and has more energy than ever, and I know it is because of the Amsoil and the Tornado.
